AE2S announces the promotions of four Employee-Owners!
Scott Schaefer is now the AE2S Practices Director. In his new role, he will work with AE2S Practice Leaders in the continued development and implementation of technical solutions by leading innovation in AE2S service offerings, maintaining the technical capabilities of our Employee-Owners as best-in-class, and actively pursuing AE2S’ presence as technical experts in support of the firm’s overall strategies. Prior to his promotion, Schaefer served as the AE2S Wastewater Practice Leader for 10 years. “Scott brings an established and proven track record in promoting technical advancement regionally and nationally. We look forward to Scott’s continued success within his new role,” says Jeff Hruby, AE2S Chief Development Officer. Schaefer has been with AE2S since 2010 and will continue working with clients in his new role.
Scott Buecker is the new AE2S Wastewater Practice Leader. He will focus on the needs of AE2S clients by promoting technical innovation, conducting practice-level and company-level strategic planning, and identifying/setting trends for the Wastewater Practice. Most recently, he served as a Senior Project Manager. Buecker has more than 20 years of experience in the water and wastewater treatment and conveyance industries. Over the course of his career, he has worked as a project manager, design manager, and senior process engineer. His experience spans permitting and funding procurement, facilities planning, conceptual and preliminary design, preparation of final plans and specifications, and construction management. Buecker will continue to be based out of the Bozeman office and work with clients in several states.
Andrea Boe is the firm’s first Engagement Director. In her new role, she will be the primary source of internal and external communications, outreach, and engagement for AE2S. “Andrea has been an incredibly valuable member of our AE2S team for more than 25 years, successfully serving in countless roles. She has an incredible passion for the core culture of AE2S, the value of our Employee-Owners and our Clients, and the sustained success of our business,” says Grant Meyer, AE2S CEO. Boe was the first marketing staff member at AE2S and has been promoted several times over the years to become Marketing Manager, Business Development Director, and most recently the Communications Practice Leader. “AE2S recognizes the importance of communications and engagement in striving toward our shared Mission and Vision, and I am excited to have this opportunity to focus on furthering our strategy and grow our strong company culture,” she says.
Brent Bogar is the new AE2S Communications Practice Leader, responsible for the business development and management of the firm’s communications and marketing services. In 2019, Bogar became a Senior Consultant with AE2S Nexus, the firm’s financial division. “Since joining AE2S, his time has focused on legislative and public policy, funding and financial consulting, and communications. This unique combination of experiences will serve him well as he works with the team to strengthen the Communications Practice’s goals of creating stronger communities for our clients through public engagement, promotion, and communications,” says Hruby.
