AE2S REPRESENTATIVES ATTEND WORLD-RENOWNED WATER CONFERENCE

Representatives from AE2S (Advanced Engineering and Environmental Services, Inc.) have returned from Dallas, TX, where they spent a week collaborating with national and international water experts and participating in the American Water Works Association (AWWA) Annual Conference and Exposition (ACE).
Each year, the ACE event hosts a gathering of water professionals from around the world who are intent on providing leadership and guidance for the future of safe water.
The AWWA ACE event allowed Charlie Vein, AE2S President; Deon Stockert, PE, AE2S Drinking Water Group Manager; Meredith Quinn, PE, Project Engineer; Grant Meyer, PE and Operations Manager of the AE2S offices in the Twin Cities; Lisa Ansley, PE and Operations Manager of AE2S’s Bismarck, ND, office; Wayne Gerszewski, PE, Project Manager; Richard Wagner, PE; Aaron Vollmer, Process Design Engineer; Charles Haupert, Electrical Engineer; Jasper Klein, PE, Project Engineer; and Grant Slick, Engineer; to collaborate on water technologies that are important to eastern North Dakota and western Minnesota. Those technologies include: membranes, modeling, dissolved air flotation, water treatment optimization, filtration, disinfection, ultraviolet light, enhanced coagulation, contaminant removal, pipelines and transmissions mains, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations and compliance strategies, new material standards, recycling water, novel residual treatment, ozonation, desalination, automating treatment, supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA), and many more municipal and industrial water solutions.
Haupert also represented the Minnesota AWWA Young Professionals group at the AWWA ACE event, and presented a poster titled “Methods to Improve Electrical Reliability and Safety.”
