  • Bismarck East Zone 3 Modeling
When the City of Bismarck was developing a new pressure zone in the northeast corner of Bismarck, they turned to AE2S to complete a study which evaluated fire flow demand and water quality, among other things through the use of hydraulic modeling. The study compared the costs, benefits, and concerns for eight alternatives that were developed. For a more detailed description click here.

Modeling

Be a super model.  How can modeling be beneficial for a utility? A computer model of a water, wastewater, or stormwater system is a valuable tool that can assist the user in analyzing hydraulic performance over a wide range of operational scenarios. Using hydraulic modeling, problems can be anticipated in proposed or existing systems and solutions can be evaluated before time, money, and materials are invested in a real-world project. Applications for modeling include, but are not limited to, master planning, operator training, facility sizing, emergency response, real-time SCADA simulations, or system expansion and improvements.
