AE2S Geomatics Services - Surveying, Mapping, GIS

The Red River Valley Water Supply Project is being designed to transport water from the Missouri River basin 120 miles east to the Red River Valley. AE2S was retained to establish primary control, provide Laser Imaging and Ranging (LiDAR) mapping control, and perform quality control surveys on the LiDAR mapping deliverables for the 120-mile pipeline route. AE2S developed a City-Wide Geographic Information System (GIS) for the City of Grand Forks. Over 50,000 surface utility features were surveyed. Subsurface data such as pipe inverts, size, material, condition, and special attributes were carefully measured, recorded, and linked to map entities as object data. A multitude of data from different sources was compiled and carefully entered into the GIS. For a more detailed description click here.
AE2S was retained to provide surveying services for a new wind farm near Langdon, ND. The project consisted of establishment of control for construction staking, centerline and offsets for road construction, turbine location and offset staking, underground collection system staking, and an as-built survey.
