Scott Schafer, PE Promoted to Wastewater Group Manager

AE2S announced the promotion of Scott Schaefer, PE to the position of Wastewater Group Manager today.  Scott earned Bachelor of Science and Master of Science Degrees from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa.  He has expertise in wastewater master planning as well as biological process design and effluent reuse. He has worked on all phases of design from conceptual planning and detailed design through construction administration for gravity sewer, lift station, forcemain, and treatment facility projects.

Scott joined AE2S in June 2010 from the Tucson, AZ office of Malcolm Pirnie.  Since joining AE2S, Scott has played an integral role in various wastewater projects, pursuits, and wins.  "We appreciate his can-do attitude and strategic approaches to interacting with clients and staff," says AE2S CEO Steve Burian.
